Epicor

Form Customizations

Forms within Epicor can be customized to meet your specific needs. Fields can be added or removed, and additional functionality may be implemented to existing forms to make sure you’re getting the exact data you need.

Service Connect

The Service Connect tool allows us to program actions based upon input. The input can come from a file dropped in a specific location on the network, an e-mail, a timed event, or something triggered from a BPM. Service Connect is applicable, and extremely useful in areas including:

Creation of a “Positive Pay” file for bank after an AP check run
Automatic download of currency exchange rates from Internet source and uploading daily to Epicor
Custom import routine for customers and contacts
Import of lockbox data file with cash receipts application
Upload of large AP invoice with specific GL accounts on each line
Notification of management of large cancellations during the day
Creation of Sales Order header, lines, and releases based on files from customer website
Receive Bill of Material file from CAD program and create BOM in Epicor
Automatic import of timecard records
Interface with website to create customers, contacts, shipping addresses, sales orders
Detailed notifications of actions that have happened in the system

Business Activity Manager “BAM”

The BAM allows us to set rules to watch specific fields in the database and take action when those fields change in a way that matters to your company. Actions can include logging the change, sending an e-mail alert, or automatically printing a document. Keeping you aware of changes inside your system so you can be proactive on a whole new level.

Business Process Management “BPM”

BPM is an extended, more flexible version of BAM. Here, we can take action when data changes or when a specific business object is used within the system. Resulting actions can include prompting the user for information or enforcing business rules. This is a great customization opportunity, one that allows you to be successfully different from every other Epicor user. And that’s exactly how it should be.

Advanced Print Management

Automation makes your job easier, allowing you to focus on the big picture items. The Advanced Print Management technology allows us to automatically fax, e-mail, and print documents based upon their content. Watch as your ERP system anticipates your needs, and acts accordingly.
